New In-Person PC Class with Instructor Joe Bentley:

Are you playing Wordle?
Tuesday, May 3, 2 - 4pm

Have you tried Wordle yet? If you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out. It's a fun, easy-to-learn, often challenging 5-letter word game. It typically takes only about 5 minutes to play each day. This class will cover how to play, some tips, and provide you access to a free Wordle practice program. Joe has written his own version of Wordle and it's better than the original. Get a free copy when you come to class (bring a flash drive to make a copy).
You must register in advance for this class by calling 831-420-6180 .

Computer Viruses - How to Stay Safe
Thursday, May 19, 2 - 4pm

Have you been vaccinated yet? Have you had a test lately? Do you wear a mask? Computer viruses are similar to COVID (but you won't get a cough). This class will discuss prevention, testing, and the cure.
You must register in advance for this class by calling 831-420-6180 .

Do you want to learn to be a computer programmer?

Who says, “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks”? How would you like to become a computer programmer? Would you be interested in a programming class for beginners? Would you like to learn to write useful programs to manage your data, solve problems, or write some games (your grandchildren would like this, too)? The Senior Computer Center is considering offering such a class. The class would meet one or two times per week, maybe in the evenings, and offered as either an in-person class or as a Zoom session.

If you are interested, please email or call 831-420-6180.
